Las Vegas Party Scene Recap + Street Team Tips

http://www.PartyPromoting.com - Best Resource for Club Promoters

Blog Summary:

Here I recap my little vaca to Vegas! Pretty much discussing how the club promoting game is the same no matter where you go. The sub-promoters there and street team guys hand out passes to various nightclubs that are usually marked with a number that signify the street team member it came from. This is how they get compensated.
Most of the passes/flyers they handed out were discount admission for guys and free admission for females. They also typically had a cut off time for when the passes would expire.

Another good point concerning street team/sub-promoters was brought up in our forum. It was in respect to how your street team should dress and act when they’re out in the streets working. They should dress comfortably yet decent enough to not intimidate people they approach. A good outfit suggestion would be a t-shirt with your company logo on it, jeans, and clean sneakers…but it’s all up to you.
Also, make sure they are well informed about the details of your event and not just handing out flyers. If someone asks them about the party they need to know the general details such as location, time, theme, and where to get more info.

How to Promote Parties in a Bad Economy

http://www.partypromoting.com - Teaching you how to Throw A Party the right way with PP3.0

Video blog summary:

Answering a forum question from member Napoleon. Said his clientele has dropped in light of the recession and wanted to know what he can do to make up for the loss.

I suggested that he caters more to the customer and do special promotions that are sensitive to their pockets.
Some examples are doing free entry and free drink promotions for a finite amount of time to get customers in the doors. I’ve also heard of promoters offer free valet parking. Just brainstorm on it and get creative.
The goal is for people to choose your party over all the others…and every little incentive helps with them making this decision.

Throwing a Party with Liquor Sponsors-Part 2

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

Visit: www.PartyPromoting.com
To learn how to Throw A Party the right way!!

Club Promoting Blog Summary:
Here I talk about an event the liquor sponsor I now work is thinking about getting behind. Basically it’s a party that an in-house promoter at a pretty big club is throwing as an afterparty for the BET Hip-Hop Music Awards in Atlanta. The company i’m with is considering giving them a $10k sponsorship towards their promotion. They are going to be securing a huge artist, running tons of radio ads, and bring in roughly 100 cases of the liquor to be the premier beverage for the night. The promoter is working hand in hand with the club to make this happen.
I’ll give you the play by play as things progress so you can see how this stuff works. Note that the club promoter will be doing this party regardless if any sponsors are involved or not. The promotion isn’t dependent on obtaining sponsorship dollars…it’s more so to help them recoup their expenses.
