About Me - Trent Dunn

Hello,

My name is Trent Dunn, creator of the Party Promoting 3.0 program.  This program is designed to get you a track of financial success doing something that you love doing…Partying and having tons of fun while making crazy amounts of money literally over night.

I wanted to put this introduction together to let you know a little about myself and why I think this program would be great for you.

 

When I started off my career years ago in the nightlife industry, I owned and operated a high profile nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia for over 3 years.  That experience gave me inside knowledge on how clubs work, how they operate, and what they expect from promoters.  During that time of running a venue and working with promoters I noticed quite a few nights when the promoter would net more money than me as an owner!  It was my overhead that was killing a lot of my profit plus I had the added liability.  The promoter had neither of these hindrances and was thus able to make great amounts of money with little risk involved.  This is what initially got me thinking about positioning myself as a promoter. 

After a few years of running the club, I got a devastating letter from my landlord stating that they decided to accept a bid of some huge contractor to turn the property my club was on into some highrise luxury condos!  This news literally rocked my world.  All the money invested, time spent, and the established clientele was about to go down the drain over night.  I had to be out by the end of the month and figure out what to do with myself and all the debt I still had under my belt from the initial investment of getting into the club.

I was pretty much bankrupt and jobless at this point.  But, I pushed on and decided to try this party promoting thing out.  My family and friends thought I was absolutely crazy to stay in this business after all the mess I had been through.  They felt that the corporate workforce was the safe bet.  I thought differently and felt that I could really pull the whole Party Promoter thing off.  I didn’t really personally know anyone that could help me nor did I have a ton of money to start; All I had was the knowledge I learned from watching successful promoters over the years and remembering how I dealt with them from the club’s point of view.  All I had to do was place myself on the other side of the table now and work it!  My secret was that I had all the nightclub inside know-how to manipulate great deals for myself and do those same types of events that I’d seen before that I knew would be successful.

My first party I promoted for about 1 ½ weeks with less than $300.  I had a 150 person turnout in a 300 person capacity venue and grossed over $1000!!  And it only got better from there! 

I once had a night I did a net profit of over $10,000!  Yes, I said net.  After my expenses were paid, I still had a little over $10,000 left.  I saw quite a few more comparable nights like that in my party endeavors and it soon started to become easy for me and really fun.

I started gaining respect and acknowledgement from other promoters, the club patrons, and local and national businesses that now help me fund my party ventures with sponsorships!  

Ever since I was able to turn things around for myself, I noticed that a lot of people interested in what I do asking me questions and advice on throwing parties.  I would talk and talk and talk until I was out of breathe but it still wouldn’t be telling them all they needed to know to really get things off on the right foot for them.  So, I decided to release this material in the Party Promoting 3.0 program that would be a one stop shop to answer all your questions you have and help you along the way to avoid any bumps or pot holes in the road. 

I really love helping people and seeing them become successful.  It’s kind of selfish because I do for me; It make me feel great to see someone take my thoughts and ideas and turn them into something real and profitable, and of course I get to brag about being the one that helped them get to where they are.  I feel that there is enough money out here for everyone to benefit and profit from and that holding information from people that really want to learn isn’t helping anyone.  Sharing information and helping other promoters helps fuel the industry and keeps excitement, variety, and competition around for all those party goers out there.
